EDIT: I found a similar banknote but it has a slightly different overprint on the reverse. This one also has "Central Bank of the Philippines".

ReplyDeleteI have a one Peso Bank Note that looks similar to the Victory Note except for the seal in the lower right corner. The Victory Note shows the Commonwealth of the Philippines & the United States of America. My One Peso Note showes the Central Bank of the Philippines *1949* Does my Bank Note have any appeal to collectors?

Deletei an old book from an estate sale & found one of the certificates in the book.mine is the victory no 66 with the blue seal at the lower right hand corner commomwealth of the philippines united states of america & manila philippines stamp in the middle of the seal.would you know about what it's worth?

Can you give us tips on how to determine if philippine victory note is authentic? Is there a watermark that appears if you scan the philippine victory note? Thanks in advance!

ReplyDeleteThe series were demonetized in 1967. Before that they could be traded for their cash value.
