Coin Grading by PCGS

Coin grading is a very important process for serious coin collectors. If you are serious about making money out of your coins, coin grading is an indispensable process that tries to objectively describe the quality of the coin. The higher the grade of the coin, the higher the value.

Here is a video demonstrating the meticulous coin grading procedure of the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS).

    I was very surprised to see the graders not wearing any protect glove on their hands!!! I would think that a "good" coin person would do this to protect the coin from finger prints...???

  9. Do you have PCGS here in the Philippines coz i want my coins to be graded. I have one cent liberty (1960,1964-D,1968,1972 error border,1971,1984-D,1984,1985-D,1987-D and 2000-D), Liberty five cents(1982P,1982D,1964 with D at the back, beside the building,1984D,1983D and 2000D, LIBERTY dime(1987P), ELIZABETH 2 PENCE(1988,1977,1981,1978,1995,1989). Hopefully you can help me i have more old coins here and planning for auction . Thank you

The "the soldier drumming 1776" ," Massachusets 1788 soldier with rifle", " North Carolina "the first flight" 1789, Maryland 1788, New york 1788 " Stautue of liberty" just to name a few.
